In the early part of 2018 - Captain Charles moved into the carriage shed at Cheddleton and repairs to the cab front end continued, windscreens re-fitted then the cab reassembly started and wooden sections lost in the shed fire in 2017 refabricated to hold the ceiling and panelling. Additionally repairs to components and rubbing back and repainting of the engine room continues in parallel
